Carlie J. Sloan, Ph.D.

Director

I am an assistant professor of Psychology at the University of South Carolina and the founder and director of the Family and Child Development Lab.

I received my Ph.D. in 2024 from Pennsylvania State University, and went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in prevention and dissemination & implementation sciences at Arizona State University.

My work combines developmental, family, and prevention science approaches with the overall goal of optimizing family-based prevention programs to be engaging, adaptable, scalable, and meet families’ unique needs.
